ABOUT ME

Hey, I'm River, a game developer from Amsterdam. My interests lie where tech meets art, specializing in tool development and shaders.

Some of my favourite games to play are Myst, Minecraft, and Walkabout Minigolf, and other hobbies include boardgames, Lego, and VR.

In entertainment some genres I enjoy are sci-fi like Doctor Who, and cozy murder mysteries like Midsomer Murders and Death in Paradise.

CoderDojo Amsterdam At CoderDojo Amsterdam I volunteered as an IT teacher. CoderDojo is a worldwide organization, hosting workshops for young kids to get their first tech experience.

As part of my role I helped write lesson materials, taught workshops, or assisted fellow volunteers in their workshops. We hosted workshops once a month, outside of school vacations, usually on Saturdays.
